Adelheid Smit is an independent curator and writer based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Questions around cultural diversity, religion, gender and LGBT equality and culture, and the impact of neo-liberalism on both a global and personal scale connect, and have continued to inform her curatorial work. She regularly publishes articles in art magazines like Metropolis M, Puntkomma and Simulacrum, and was co-author of the book “Please Write!” Paul Thek and Franz Deckwitz, and artist’s friendship’ published by Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in 2015.
